ABOUT All-stages

Even though we are a young start-up as a charitable foundation, – we got our charitable status in 2023 – our programs are over 35 years old!
People love our programs so much that children who came to some of the earlier programs in the 80’s and 90’s now bring their children to the programs – and get to see them join in our community of mutual respect and caring for one another. Also the parents who first brought their little ones back in the day now attend as grandparents and get to attend the sessions and the show and the party together.
We love it when the whole family can be together and we can overcome barriers to closeness and learn how to share across the generation gaps. We at all-stages share a lot about how to talk to our family members who are at different stages of development. We love to share our pet concept of scaffolding with everyone as it is the most beautiful and natural way to teach and learn and sometimes our institutions are not as helpful in this area of human growth.
As a Registered Canadian non-profit, The All-Stages Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting the growth of every young person and their family. We use an evidence-based approach to leadership development, anchored in the performing arts. Through creative, interactive experiences, participants learn to lead, communicate effectively, and develop a deep sense of social understanding and self-awareness, all within mixed-age group settings.

Our Policies
As it begins its journey as a foundation, the All Stages Education Foundation, which is what we are calling the organization which puts on both KITS and LAUNCH youth leadership training, has begun to formalize some of the policies we keep at heart when we run our programs. These policies are always being reviewed and changed, but the core ideals of caring, acceptance and safety remain constant. OUR THREE PROGRAMS
The All-Stages Education Foundation was created because so many of the participants wanted to ensure that KITS, Launch and FITS would continue. We have many participants even as young as 11 who tell us that they want to bring their children to the programs. So we have discovered that we have a legacy and a responsibility to carry it forward. We also recognize that the learning that we provide for our young participants equips them to manage life’s challenges and the challenges of our world today in a comprehensive way. The skills and insights gained through our programs help our alumni to craft better relationships, more satisfying careers, and more meaningful lives.
It is our mission to carry on this legacy with our community and to grow our influence going forward. We have reached communities across Canada, including Gabriola Island, Montreal, Jasper, Whati, and Haida Gwaii. Our work also extends internationally, with programs in Kisumu, Kenya, and Casa Sula, Costa Rica. Wherever we go, we bring the same commitment to fostering growth, learning, and leadership that has inspired generations of young people.
Launch: Youth Led Leadership
LAUNCH is a youth leadership program where teens and young adults learn to lead through play, mentorship, and real-life experience. Working alongside younger participants in our KITS program, youth discover their leadership style, build confidence, and become part of a vibrant, multi-age community.
